My name is Luke Erickson, and I am the Board Chairman for The EPICENTER, a community center right in the heart of Edgewood. On behalf of our board and Delegate Donna Stiffler, I hope that you’ll consider partnering with us to empower people, strengthen families, and build a sense of community and trust right here in Edgewood.
The EPICENTER at Edgewood has been blessed in the last year to have so many people join alongside us in the work that we do. Together, we’ve seen children become leaders, adults learn new skills, and people from all stages of life find a place to belong and give back to the neighborhoods they call home. Last spring, our first fundraising breakfast generated more than $45,000, providing critical support to move our mission forward. We’re so grateful for the generous contributions of community leaders such as yourself, and I hope you’ll consider this opportunity to partner with us by coming to our breakfast on Thursday, April 26 from 8:30-10am at The EPICENTER.
Please see below for more information and to sign up for our breakfast. The event will feature words from our honored guest, County Executive Barry Glassman. Glassman will address the opioid epidemic, shed light on The EPICENTER’s efforts to support those facing addiction, and discuss ways we can combat the opioid crisis as a community.
Thank you for your support, and know it would be our pleasure to serve you on April 26. We hope to see you soon, and please feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested.
