August Food Giveaway- Saturday, August 11

As we do each month, The EPICENTER will partner with Tabitha’s House and provide nutritious food to guests in need through our August Food Giveaway on Saturday, August 11. Additionally, Edgewood Lions Club will perform free vision screenings and may also be able to provide vouchers for free or low-cost glasses to qualifying individuals.*

Please email with any questions, and feel free to share in your offices, on social media, or with anyone you know who may benefit. Se habla español.

IMPORTANT- Please note:
1. Our August Food Giveaway will take place on a SATURDAY so that we will also have room to offer our Camp EPIC summer camp during the week.
2. Our August Food Giveaway will take place from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM instead of at its usual afternoon time. We will have several community resources available beginning at 10, and we will start giving away food at 11.
3. We will not have most of our routine health vendors this month, though Edgewood Lions Club, our Employment Readiness Specialist, and Celebrate Recovery will set up tables to share their services.
4. We will resume offering our regular health services and holding our Food Giveaway events on Fridays at our September Health Fair and Food Giveaway on Friday, September 14.

*Unfortunately, Edgewood Lions Club cannot guarantee free or low-cost glasses for any guests. However, Edgewood Lions Club still encourages all individuals in need to receive screenings and may be able to provide eyewear vouchers depending on the quantity available.
